Learn more about VPS

A virtual server (VPS, Virtual Private Server) is an isolated software device that can have its own operating system and applications as if it were a physical computer. A virtual server behaves just like a physical computer and has limited (virtual) resources available as processors, RAM memory, hard drives and network ports.

An installed operating system can not distinguish between a virtual and a physical server (it can not ”see” beyond its container). A virtual server is a ”real” server in all aspects except that it shares physical resources with other virtual servers in the virtual infrastructure.

Our virtual server infrastructure is based, among other things, on VMware vSphere technology that allows us to spread virtual servers across multiple physical servers, clusters, which makes the environment resistant to, for example, hardware problems with an individual physical server.

It is free to install any applications on your virtual server except those that violate our terms and conditions.
We have pre-installed templates for, among other things, the most common Windows Server (Web Edition and Standard) and Linux distributions (CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu).

Because we use VMware virtualization products, we support a host of operating systems that can be installed on demand, contact us for more details.

The following nameservers can be used for DNS spreadsheets:

resolv1.pin.se (81.93.130.5)

resolv2.pin.se (81.93.131.5)

Note that it is not possible to register domains on these nameservers.

That’s something the network administrator does, that is, us. So contact us with IP number and name (FQDN) and we’ll fix it for you.

Note that we can only do reverse DNS on netwroks we manage.
